Tall Oaks Kennels
Tall Oaks Kennels is run by William and Beverly Shupe on 15 wooded acres in Bowling Green, Virginia, and breeds Presa Canarios and South African Boerboels. The kennel states it has bred and shown dogs since 1975, began with Presa Canarios in 2001, and started breeding Boerboels in 2010, which it says are registered with the AKC and UKC. Both programs run at the same time: two Boerboel litters and two Presa Canario litters are currently advertised as due in August 2026, each with a named sire and dam. A separate page advertises Irish-marked and piebald Boerboels as a distinct offering. The American Boerboel Club names owner Beverly Shupe as a director on its board and carries the kennel on its approved-breeder list, a paid annual listing open to members in good standing that the club states does not vouch for the health, temperament or quality of any dog.
