Distinguished Boerboels
Distinguished Boerboels is a South African Boerboel kennel in Lisbon, New York, run by Ed and Danielle Clary, whose website states the program began with its first Boerboel in 2016 and that Ed brings more than 25 years of K-9 handling experience across tracking, protection, and detection work. The kennel lists affiliation with the South African Boerboel Breeders Society (SABBS) and registers puppies with the North American Boerboel Breeders Registry (NABBR). Independent corroboration comes from the breed publication Modern Molosser, which profiled a Distinguished Boerboels dog, Jagter, that passed a certified SABBS appraisal with a score of 87.7, above the 75-point breeding-register threshold, and from a third-party Boerboel pedigree database that carries a breeder profile for the kennel. No published per-dog health screening (OFA, PennHIP, or cardiac/DNA panels) was located in independent sources; the kennel describes puppies as released at eight weeks, microchipped and vet-checked. The kennel's website currently lists two 2026 litters, with puppies born April 16 and June 9, 2026 to named registered sires and dams and placements across several northeastern states, making mid-2026 the most recent observable Boerboel activity.
