The website copyright dates the operation to roughly 2020 and the most recent litter announcement on the site is from January 2024, but the Facebook (3,500 followers) and Instagram (2,573 followers, 194 posts) accounts both show current 2026 activity, so the program is operationally active even though the website itself has not been refreshed. The breeding program runs a NABBA-appraisal pipeline across its full roster: stud appraisals are Earthquake Bison 90.4%, Revelation Earthquake 89.5%, Targus Felon 88.5%, Alexander King Kong 85.7%; lead dam Kendra (registered name "E.BOERBOEL PRIDE KENDRA") carries a 93.1% NABBA appraisal — the highest score in the kennel. Bloodline-import claims have been individually verified to existing South African parent kennels: Targus traces to Gawie & Gabriel Pottas in Gauteng, Ralzuca to Zeandré Erasmus near Krugersdorp, and Elevation to a Klein Karoo kennel in the Western Cape; one US breeding partner is documented through a 2023 litter (Hilltop Ruby × D&K Bomani Jr, born June 27, 2023) tying Hilltop to D&K Boerboels of St. Louis, Missouri, the kennel that originally imported Targus Felon into the United States. The kennel does not appear in the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship public list of licensed commercial animal-welfare establishments, is not on the American Boerboel Club approved-breeder list, has no Good Dog profile, no BBB profile, and no Iowa Secretary of State business-entity filing under "Hilltop Boerboels".
